Lauren:
You have made it all so clear to me. I fell down the stairs a couple of months back, but have continued to have pain. ( I assumed from my lower back hitting the stairs). My doctor says my L1-7 are straight, I have arthritis in my S1&2, and on top of that my pelvis is rotated. He sends me to a great PT who starts me on correcting my posture (oy vey the pain) and then says my hip flexors are the tightest she’d ever seen. Me, little ol’ 5 foot nothing who hasn’t exercised in over 2 years, said…what did I do and how can I stop doing it. Your articles on your blog have cleared up everything for me! My 8-10 hour a day job in front of a computer 5 days a week is the hip flexor culprit. Its not what have I done but what I haven’t done, i.e. get up every hour, stretch and walk!
THANK YOU THANK YOU I’m a slightly sore but new convert!
hey Liz!
